Eden Gardens is the oldest cricket ground of India established in the year 1864. This is the authorized home ground of Bengal Cricket Team and Kolkata Knight Riders and a venue for Test, One Day and T20 International cricket. Known as ‘Lords’ of sub-continent, it has the prestigious record of holding the highest number of international matches in India along with World Cup final. The ground was named after the Eden sisters of the then governor-general Lord Auckland. Eden Gardens is famous for its vivacious crowd.
